CAMPBELLSBURG & SALTILLO PROGRESS

The section of Phase 1A of the trail scheduled to be completed through Campbellsburg and Saltillo is expected to be completed in Summer 2025. In these areas, MAC Construction crews will be working on prepping and laying down asphalt in early spring of this year.

The Monon South Trail stretch through Campbellsburg and Saltillo will be 3.5 miles in length with the majority of the trail consisting of crushed aggregate material. In addition, paved sections (just shy of 1-mile) will run through the towns. ​Once construction has started in these areas, project photos will be kept below.
