The third section of Phase 1A of the trail scheduled to be completed is through Salem. In this area, MAC Construction crews will be working on prepping and laying down asphalt in late 2024 - early 2025.

The Monon South Trail section through Salem will be 2.7 miles in length, all of which will be paved.
